Crafted from reclaimed urban wood, this stunning hickory wood bench exudes a primitive yet chic charm. Utilizing salvaged hickory wood logs, the bench showcases the natural grain and texture of each species in its simple, narrow and backless design. Experience rustic luxury with this one-of-a-kind piece.

Hickory belongs to the walnut family, is prevalent in the Hickory Pine and Central Hardwood forests of Birmingham.

The 12" x 12" beam is milled and finished to sit raised by a mild steel base with a black patina. The hickory beam bench can be fabricated to order, in a variety of lengths up to 8 feet.

Pair it with the Hyo Table in Hickory and check out all our beam benches.

Dimensions: 12" W x 17" H - Length Varies

With the oiled finish used on the knife base and hickory wood, we do not recommend putting this bench outside, exposed to the elements.

Note on Materials: Cracks are part of the rustic beauty of these pieces. If the finish cracks or chips, you may see some raw walnut underneath. You may notice differences from piece to piece or to images on the website or between samples received. There is no stain, so the color may vary. This is a quality of natural wood. The knots and fine cracks that you may see will not cause structural deficiencies as they are an organic aspect of the wood. We view these elements not as flaws, but as reminders of the tree from which each piece is born. Natural materials will age over time and with exposure to the elements—the more exposure, the quicker they will age. Expansion and contraction due to temperature variability may occur. They will age with integrity when cared for appropriately.
