Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 5 years of your life, you’ve probably noticed that podcasts are pretty big right now. They’re so specialized that you can find one on almost any subject. That’s why we’ve provided a list of some of our favorite nature and science oriented podcasts.
This is a particularly fun podcast because each episode is divided into short segments on interesting scientific topics that NASA encounters. You can watch NASA ScienceCasts on YouTube if you like the visual element.
A botany centered podcast whose tagline is, “a show designed to cure plant blindness around the globe.” As the name would suggest, this podcast focuses on some of the most interesting aspects of plant life and ecological study.
This podcast is interesting because it explores the ways in which humans interact with nature. It tells reals stories from real people, and even has a few awards under its belt. Neat!
The International Journal of Science brings us this excellent podcast on a host of different natural topics. What’s more is that journalists are the ones presenting the info and making it as interesting as possible.
As far as funny podcasts about science go, this one should be everybody’s go to. It’s hosted by a professor and a comedian, and what results is some witty and entertaining content on various scientific topics.
